Getting to know clients' situations, their goals, and the problems they're trying to solve is genuinely one of the most rewarding parts of the job. Tax and accounting aren't about plugging numbers into a computer. It's about understanding someone's full financial picture and finding the best path forward for where they are and where they're trying to go.
By the time he graduated from California State University, Fullerton, Caprizio already had three years of hands-on tax and accounting experience, something that set the tone for how he approaches the work to this day. His background spans small to medium-sized businesses, individuals, trusts, and nonprofits, covering tax preparation, planning, bookkeeping, payroll, and more.
The problem-solving side of accounting is what drew him to it in the first place: the analytics, the numbers, and the satisfaction of working through something complex and coming out the other side with a clear answer. Over the years, that same curiosity has extended beyond the numbers to the people behind them. And at the end of the day, few things are more satisfying than knowing a client kept more of their hard-earned money where it belongs.
